Description:
Itworks in a processing line that initially receives the material, andclams for their opening, fleshing, and discarding of the shell. Dutiesand responsibilities include manually opening the clam using a knife.
Break the clam meat inserts with the knife to separate it from the shelland empty the meat contained in the shell into a bucket for storage.
When the bucket is full, it fills in the number of the full bucket withthe Material Handler in the form of a ticket before it removes thebucket to transfer it to the next processing line. They can participatein any other clam meat processing process if required, such as cleaning,separating, precooking, packaging, etc.
Requirements:
Lifting (up to 25pounds) is required. A full range of physical mobility is required,including walking, standing, stooping, crouching, crawling, kneeling,carrying, reaching, and climbing. Be able to remain stationary standingfor the entire work shift.
