The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production and a strong understanding of meat processing techniques. As a Sausage Maker, you will be responsible for fabricating, seasoning, and packaging high-quality sausages while adhering to strict food safety standards. Responsibilities Fabricate various types of sausages using appropriate meat cuts and ingredients. Season and mix meat products according to established recipes and HACCP guidelines. Operate and maintain food processing equipment, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. Package finished products for distribution while maintaining quality control standards. Sanitate work areas and equipment to uphold cleanliness and safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and product quality. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and report any shortages or discrepancies. Experience Previous experience in the food industry, specifically in food processing or meat cutting, is preferred. Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is essential. Familiarity with OSHA standards related to food production environments is a plus. Mechanical knowledge related to operating food processing machinery is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of production.
