Experience with meat processing and cutting is a plus but not a requirement. Our facility operates Monday – Friday from 5am to 130pm. Depending on experience, this role may entail the following: Assisting in the cutting, processing, and packaging of meat Maintaining facility cleanliness to USDA and SQF standards Receiving product Preparing wholesale orders for shipment Packing consumer-direct orders for shipment Organizing inventory in the facility/warehouse Delivering wholesale orders via delivery van We are a very small and tight knit team functioning in a fast moving, high energy work environment. The ideal applicant would have the following: Reliable transportation to and from the market A valid Driver’s License Experience in the food service and/or wholesale industry The desire to advance and learn on the job An interest in high end proteins and the meat industry The ability to move quickly and repeatedly lift large boxes/cuts of meat Experience and ability to work on a small team to complete a variety of tasks that may vary day to day
