POSITION OVERVIEW

The Associate Production Manager will oversee and manage day-to-day production operations, ensuring efficiency, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards. This role requires strong coordination between internal departments and external vendors, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a sharp focus on optimizing processes and timelines. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring deep knowledge of apparel production to the table.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSOCIATE PRODUCTION MANAGER

Manage daily production activities and track timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with design, marketing, and product development teams to align production goals.
Monitor production milestones and make schedule adjustments as needed.
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components.
Conduct and assist with quality control checks to uphold product standards.
Generate and present production reports focused on cost, time, and efficiency metrics.
Oversee inventory levels and coordinate timely reorders to prevent production delays.
Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with finance on budget planning and production cost control.
Identify and implement process improvements for greater operational efficiency.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE ASSOCIATE PRODUCTION MANAGER

Minimum 5 years of experience in Apparel production coordination.
In-depth knowledge of end-to-end production processes.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Proficient in production software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE ASSOCIATE PRODUCTION MANAGER

Experience working with international vendors and supply chains.
Familiarity with PLM systems and ERP tools.
Background in sustainable production practices.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree is required.
