Required Years of Experience 1 year Job Details The Dead Rabbit is seeking a dedicated Beverage Prep & Production team member to play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent production of high-quality ingredients for the bar while overseeing the preparation process. As part of our dynamic team, the Prep team will contribute to the execution of our ‘Welcome Home’ hospitality philosophy and uphold our core experience pillars for each and every customer. A successful candidate must exude these competencies and characteristics consistently.

PREP ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Responsible for embodying our core values.
•  Responsible for adhering to The Dead Rabbit’s team member handbook.
•  Responsible for performing related duties as requested by leadership teams.
•  Responsible for being a team player, working with other team members when needed or required.
•  Responsible for being an effective communicator post, during, and pre-shift, alerting team members to operational issues or concerns.
•  Responsible for production and quality management of all specialty ingredients for the beverage program according to company specifications.
•  Responsible for compounding batches for beverage program offerings according to company specifications.
•  Responsible for maintaining inventory of raw materials and purchased ingredients in coordination with the back-of-house and front-of-house teams.
•  Responsible for coordinating with the Head of Production for commissary/non-market items.
•  Responsible for receipt and organization of products related to production items.
•  Responsible for daily coordination with the Juice and Garnish Production lead.
•  Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of production workspaces and equipment.
•  Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of chest freezers for ice storage.
•  Responsible for ensuring the quality of offerings meet company standards consistently.
•  Responsible for daily communication with the beverage team regarding relevant production details.
•  Responsible for participating in new product development in conjunction with local and national beverage teams.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

•  Candidates must be hungry to learn and grow.

•  Candidates must be passionate about ingredients, food, spirits, and cocktails.
•  Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•  Candidates must have the requisite schedule availability.

•  Candidates must be able to stand for long periods and be able to lift approximately 50 lbs occasionally.
•  Candidates must be organized with excellent time-management and prioritization skills.
•  Candidates must be quick-thinking and solution-oriented.
•  Candidates must have 4+ years of industry experience in back-of-house or front-of-house service operations.
•  Candidates should have ServeSafe or equivalent Safe Food Handler certification.
