Nesco Resource is looking for Fish Packaging Associates locatedin Wallkill, NY. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the rightcandidates.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 7AM-5
PM Pay:
$18/
Hour Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Fish PackagingAssociates to join our team. This role involves handling,processing, and packaging fresh and frozen fish products in a safeand efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong workethic, the ability to work in a cold environment, and a commitmentto maintaining food safety and quality standards. Duties ℜsponsibilities: Weigh, portion, and package fish productsaccording to company standards and customer specifications. Inspectfish for freshness, quality, and adherence to safety regulationsbefore packaging. Operate and maintain packaging machinery andtools safely and efficiently. Ensure all packages are correctlylabeled with product details, weights, and expiration dates. Followhygiene and safety protocols, including proper handling of rawseafood and maintaining a clean workstation. Assist in trackinginventory levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies. Workcollaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in food processing,seafood handling, or packaging is a plus but not required. Abilityto work in cold and wet environments. Strong attention to detailand ability to follow instructions. Good physical stamina,including the ability to lift heavy weights and stand for longperiods. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends andovertime when needed.
