ESSENTIAL DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

• Processes product using tools (to includeknives), manual labor, and equipment provided in accordance withUSDA and Pilgrim’s Company product standards and procedures.
• Process product according to operating procedures andquality/quantity expectations.
• Observes equipment operation,notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safetyissues/concerns.
• Clean and organized work area.

Assist otherswith the skills and knowledge gained from the position. Observesall company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.

Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating ina manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively withcustomers, clients, co-workers, and leadership teams. Recognizesand acts on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practices andenforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout theorganization. Participates in process improvement and problemsolving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinkingmethodologies. Follow all company animal welfare guidelines. Otherduties as directed.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

: High school diplomaor equivalent (GED) preferred.

BASIC SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to comprehend simple instructions Ability to apply commonsense. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concretevariables in standardized situations. Ability to work in cooltemperatures (around 40 degrees) Ability to stand and use hands for8-11 hours per day Ability to multitask and work quickly Must be ateam player and be willing to work close to other employees at somestations. (Less than 3 feet apart.) Good hand and eye coordinationrequired. High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Food orproduction experience preferred. EOE, including disability/vets
