This role is essential in the creation of high-quality cannabis-infused gummy products, ensuring that all processes adhere to strict food safety standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production and an understanding of the cannabis industry, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes and formulations for cannabis gummies. Operate and maintain equipment used in the gummy-making process, ensuring proper sanitation and cleanliness. Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines to ensure food safety throughout the production process. Package finished products accurately and efficiently while adhering to labeling requirements. Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure consistency and compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all sanitation protocols. Requirements Previous experience in a food processing plant or similar environment is preferred. Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is essential. Basic math skills for accurate measurement and formulation of ingredients. Mechanical knowledge to assist in the operation and maintenance of production equipment. Ability to fabricate or modify equipment as needed for production efficiency. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
