Position Summary:
As a Meat Packager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are safely and efficiently packaged for distribution. You’ll work in a fast-paced, cold environment, helping to maintain the high quality standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect meat products for quality and compliance with food safety standards. Package meat products into tubes and boxes accurately and efficiently. Stack and organize packaged products to optimize space and workflow. Operate heat-sealing equipment to properly seal all packages. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in accordance with safety guidelines. Assist with other packaging duties as needed to support production flow. Work in a cold environment (32°F to 45°F) for the duration of your shift. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and food handling regulations.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift. Frequent bending, stooping, and long periods of standing. Comfortable working in cold temperatures for extended periods.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food packaging, meat processing, or manufacturing is a plus—but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals. Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions consistently.
