SERVICE AGENT – BILINGUAL
English + Mandarin or Cantonese (JFK Airport)
Starting Pay:
$20.75/hr.
Job Duties:
Make reservations, issue tickets, and compute fares for passengers. Handle baggage check-in and provide general travel information. Assist passengers at boarding gates with boarding procedures. Support arrival processing, including assistance at U.S. Customs. Manage standby travelers and their luggage. Complete flight documentation and post-departure reports. Conduct lost and found activities and process baggage claims. Receive and process airfreight shipments and prepare necessary documentation. Maintain airfreight inventory records accurately. Ensure compliance with site security protocols.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent At least 1 year of experience in customer service or related field Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to lift baggage weighing up to 50 lbs Basic computer skills and ability to keep up with recurrent training Ability to obtain and maintain airport security badge Fluent in
English and Mandarin or Cantonese Preferred Skills:
Experience in airport, airline, or logistics environments Familiarity with ticketing and reservation systems Knowledge of airfreight documentation Organizational and problem-solving skills Proficiency in a second language

Part-time (25-35 hrs/week)
