Panama City Beach What will you be doing? A Recreation Supervisor is responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities for guests, supervising the activities team, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Many if not most recreation activities take place outdoors and poolside, so daily exposure to extreme temperatures, especially sun and heat, is expected. The Recreation Supervisor must also be committed and dedicated to our Inspired Hospitality culture, which is expected to be displayed to guests and team members. With this, the Activities supervisor will: Provide outstanding guest/owner service at all time
Plan, create and schedule activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts events, tours, fitness classes, and themed events, adapting them to suit different age groups and preferences.
Perform administrative tasks including staff scheduling, monitoring hours worked, invoicing, keeping the department up to date with staff requests, processing other clerical documentation and monthly safety inspections/talks.
Responsible for training and mentoring team members,
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established and revised by HGV from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
