The Great Outdoors Community Services Association Job Title:
PT Recreation Technician Position Description:
Maintain and repair all pools and related equipment, open pools by ensuring chemicals are balanced and pool area is clean and tidy, assist in setting up and breaking down events inside the recreational buildings, provide support to the Recreational Manager as needed, repair and fix CSA buildings.
Job Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Pools & Spas:
Check pool chemicals, water temperature and maintain pool equipment.
Recreational Department Assistance:
Assist Recreation Supervisor with set-up and tear down for activity functions. General Maintenance and Repairs. Serve as Crowd Manager for large events. Weekend hours as well as varied evening hours. Employee will be cross-trained in other areas.
Educational Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Must obtain Crowd Manager Certification within 60 days of hire.
Experience and Background Requirements:
Two years in related field preferred.
