This position includes:

• Job Duties:

• + Coordinates leisure programs, activities, exercise classes, and special events for older adults in an assisted living residence + Encourages resident participation, reports changes in residents mood and physical status + Promotes independence and helps develop socialization + May help escort residents to activities outside of senior living community + Other duties as assigned by Activities Director •

Qualifications:

• Required:

• + Drivers License Current Driver’s License in good standing required if the employee will be driving the company van/bus. Not required if the employee will not be driving company vehicle. + One year of experience in similar role – working with older adults, leading activities, or working in therapy/recreation role + Working knowledge of basic Microsoft application

• Preferred:

• + High School Diploma or GED + One to three years previous experience
