Responsibilities 1. Serve as the primary athletic communications contact for men’s and women’s basketball, and secondary contact for men’s and women’s soccer, and softball. 2. Includes writing and publishing press releases, stories, graphic design and new media coverage for assigned sports. 3. Oversee student workers assisting with basketball, including those serving as statisticians, social media assistants, game workers, photographers, videographers and video production. 4. Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds. Qualifications 1. Must be knowledgeable in sports offered at UT and have basic knowledge in computer programs. 2. Ability to work in fast-paced environment and nights, weekends and holidays. 3. Savvy with social media (Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.). 4. Knowledge of or the ability to learn quickly The University of Tampa software programs such as Workday and Adobe Creative Suite. 5. Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices.
