JOB SUMMARY

The activity center coordinator will oversee the day-to-day activities for patients at our clinics. Our Coordinator collaborates with our patients developing in promoting programs, social functions, serving lunch and in enriching the lives of our patients. Seeking a customer service person to oversee the patient activities function of our clinic. This position requires a candidate who can work independently, is in customer service and is willing to serve the patients.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and execute activities for patients, including in-facility and special events.
Purchase items needed for activities and set up rooms for events.
Serve food and oversee patients to ensure safety and adherence to rules.
Train other activity workers and promote the center’s offerings.
Utilize physical strength as needed for setting up activities. problem-solving and communication skills to develop suitable activities and clearly convey instructions to patients.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

High school degree.
Previous customer service experience.
ServSafe Food Manager – ServSafe Certification Minimum of 1 year experience working as a coordinator in an activity center within a clinic setting or similar environment/industry.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES

Prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Must be able to lift to fifteen pounds at times.
