Key Job Responsibilities Student Event Planning & Execution Assist in coordinating all student events including dances, pep rallies, spirit weeks, field days, and assemblies. Maintain updated event calendars and assist in preparing event timelines and run-of-show scripts. Student Government & Leadership Programs Assist in coordinating elections, trainings, and meetings for Student Government and Student Council. Support the implementation of leadership initiatives, including Student Lighthouse Team activities (if applicable). Help supervise student leaders during planning and execution of school-wide initiatives. Spirit & Culture Building Assist in promoting school spirit and unity through themed weeks, dress-up days, and morale-boosting initiatives. Collaborate on hallway decorations and campus beautification aligned to school themes or celebrations. Communication & Promotion Draft promotional materials for events including flyers, posters, social media posts, and school announcements. Coordinate with school communications staff to include event coverage in newsletters and press releases. Logistics & Compliance Assist in collecting student permission forms, medical waivers, and rosters for all trips and activities. Support the preparation of internal accounting documentation for student activity funds. Maintain inventory of event supplies and assist with ordering decorations, equipment, and spirit gear. Ensure proper adult supervision, safety, and security protocols are followed for all activities. Collaboration & Supervision Serve as liaison between students, faculty sponsors, vendors, and administrators during events. Supervise students during events and serve as a secondary point of contact in the absence of the Activities Director. Assist with training and coordinating student volunteers.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred). Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, email platforms, and basic database systems. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic school environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
