Put your leadership skills to use and help be a leader in the bowling community! As a League Coordinator, you’ll be a key part of the Boardwalk’s bowling efforts, helping to shape the future of our sport and expand adult and youth membership. You’ll learn important skills and have a dynamic role in making important decisions for bowling, including coordinating and leading league meetings, coordinating bowling programs, and recruiting bowlers, fundraising, planning tournaments, awarding scholarships, coaching, training and mentoring bowlers.
Responsibilities Include:
Handle Daily league records including score recaps, pre-bowls, payment auditing and overall league organization. Maintain accurate records and submitting paperwork for varies tournaments and organizations. Create and Implement bowling programs. Provide quality customer service and ensure a safe, fun, and positive environment within the adult and youth programs.
Requirements:
- League Coordinators are required to be RVP and Safe Sport certified.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with others (Individuals, families, co-workers)
- Knowledge of bowling
- Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 8-hour shifts Must be able to speak, read and comprehend English. Must have close and distant vision. Frequent walking, standing and moving between tight spaces. Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs. Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.
