Job Summary Salary:

$13.00 Hourly Job description: The Pool Clerk performs a variety of administrative and customer service duties to support the daily operations of the aquatic facility. This position is responsible for front-line communication, fee collection, recordkeeping, and assisting with the upkeep of the pool environment to ensure a safe and welcoming experience for all visitors.

Minimum qualification requirements:

Currently attending high school or High School Diploma or GED preferred and some knowledge or experience in an organized educational, recreation or leisure services field working in various activities such as senior enrichment, educational programs, youth sports, aquatics, cultural and therapeutic arts, health and fitness, community centers, etc preferred; or an equivalent combination of related training and experience. Applicant must possess a valid Florida driver’s license or state ID. First Aid/CPR certification preferred. Certification by the Florida Recreation and Park Association desired, but not required. Prior experience in customer service or clerical work is desirable. Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment preferred. Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Polygraph examination required.

WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.
