• Hinesville, GA Department Information Department of Health Sciences & Kinesiology Job Summary The Temporary employee will support the Department of Health Sciences & Kinesiology as a Camp RAD Student Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Summer 2025.

Temporary employees are employed according to departmental need and the length of time will vary by workload and may not exceed 1300 hours worked in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities
Assist with planning and leading activities at Camp RAD
Work directly with assigned campers, guiding them through daily activities (physical activity, snack time, life skills training)
Set up and break down camp materials daily
Pick up supplies as requested
Support staff, volunteers, and other campers
Help maintain a clean and organized environment for campers
Model appropriate behaviors and support inclusion of all campers Shift Specifics 20 hours per week
Flexible with schedule of availability
Required Qualifications Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Required Experience Varies depending on departmental request
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience Experience with minors with disabilities Proposed Salary $10.00 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis. Required Documents to Attach
