An Activities Assistant is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating a program of therapeutic recreational activities for residents. Establish, promote, and support programs fostering enjoyment and overall wellness. Consult with other departments in implementing appropriate activities for Residents. Assist in coordinating transportation for scheduled activities and resident appointments May occasionally be responsible for resident transportation Assist in preparation of monthly Community newsletter
