Counselor CSO is looking for Counselors towork in our CBHC (Community Behavioral Health Clinic) Emergency ServicesProgram (ESP.) Our Emergency Service Programs (ESPs) offer clientsbehavioral health assessments, intervention and stabilization (foryouth, families and adults,) 24-hour availability, and are a preferredalternative to hospital emergency departments. We provide dailyassessment and brief counseling, case management, nursing support andpeer support. This position will be responsible for the care andtreatment of assigned program clients, as well as specific tasksnecessary to program operation.
You Will:
Provide supportive,therapeutic counseling and safety for clients utilizing the programAssist clients with activities of daily living, including self-care,cooking, recreation, and medication administration and documentationaccording to individual treatment plans and, for overnight shifts,following program procedures for clients Function as an active member ofthe Treatment Team, on a day-to day basis, in the therapeutic settingincluding: Monitor respite clients, including hourly bed checks anddocumentation, and provide closer observation as needed Answer anddirect crisis telephone calls according to established procedures and asrequired for program support Prepare daily evening meal for clients andstaff if working the evening shift Present cases to insurance companiesand obtain prior approvals as assigned

YourBackground:
Bachelors’ Degree with 2 years of experience working withsimilar populations High School Diploma and/or Associate’s degree maybe substituted for 5 years of experience Valid driver’s license andvehicle We also seek applicants who embody CSO’s values by being:
