Activities Assistant Part-time Every other weekend and 2 evening per week Bear Mountain at Reading 1364 Main Street, Reading, MA 01867 Part time
Activities Assistant:
16 hours/ week
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in carrying out a program of activities which provides entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, and relaxation to all residents. Assists in outside activities. Assists residents with hobbies. Assists residents with arts and crafts activities. Assists residents with group activities. Prints and distributes monthly activities calendar. Completes Activities Attendance Records. Complete initial Activity Assessments and Quarterly Progress Notes. Every other weekend – flexible hours
Position Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Ability to supervise group recreational activities. Prior experience in a nursing home preferred.
