FACE Enrichment & Recreation Coordinator at Cedar School
Office of Family & Community Engagement (FACE)
Hanover Public Schools

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, Variable Hours Based on Program Schedule and Enrollment, 12:30pm

  • 6:00pm.

The Hanover Public Schools’ Office of Family & Community Engagement (FACE) is seeking a part-time Enrichment & Recreation Coordinator to support and manage Enrichment & Recreation programs for students, adults, and community members. Programs may include creative and performing arts, athletics and movement, science & technology, etc. The Enrichment & Recreation Coordinator is responsible for the online registration processes and the daily objectives of onsite and offsite operations of Enrichment & Recreation programs. The Cedar School Enrichment & Recreation Coordinator will primarily be responsible for students in grades Pre-K

  • 1, and additional grades/ages as programs require.

Supporting the daily operations of the Cedar FACE After School Program including dismissal, student engagement, supervision, and communication is also required.
This position also supports FACE Summer Enrichment and Recreation Programs as well as community events, and evening Community Education & Recreation Programs.
Programs are held in Hanover Public Schools or Town Buildings as well as offsite locations with our community partners. Local travel may be required.
Daily Operations

  • Act as a liaison between the FACE team, school staff, vendors, families and the community
  • Oversee daily operations of on and offsite programs including attendance, dismissal, student engagement, supervision, and
    communication
  • Ensure program quality, compliance with safety standards, and professional conduct through program observation
  • Support vendors and maintain strong community relationships
  • Promote positive behavior that supports a safe, inclusive environment
  • Maintain confidentiality of all student and family information
    Requirements
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates exemplary customer service through active engagement with participants and families
  • Proficient in technology systems and platforms
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Participation in required medical trainings (CPR, First Aid & EpiPen)
  • Completion of 10 hours of job-related professional development
  • Prior childcare experience of 1 year preferred
