Primary responsibilities of this full-time position involveformulating, managing and directing a comprehensive array of aquaticprograms and activities in one or more facilities. A Bachelors degree inRecreation or combination of aquatic training and experience is desired.
Must have prior experience assisting with evaluating, developing andmanaging programs, facilities and the safety of each. Also must haveconsiderable knowledge of a variety of aquatic activities, and possessthe ability to direct them. Must have experience organizing, leading andinstructing specific aquatic programs and experience working withpreschool, youth, teens and adult / senior adult patrons. Experienceworking with diverse populations and experience supervising and managingstaff. Working knowledge of Google Suite, computer experience and theability to keep data and prepare reports. Duties & Responsibilities:
\Formulating, managing and directing a comprehensive array of aquaticprograms and activities in one or more facilities.Schedules and supervises the work of subordinate staff at aquaticsites.Assists in the hiring of staff.Assists staff and department in the evaluation of programs and thedevelopment of new programs.Monitors and manages the safety of programs and facilities.Oversees and regulates the scheduling of assigned facilities.Assists in the promotion of programs by writing program developmentplans, preparing brochures and flyer information. Also assists indisseminating information through the media, schools or communitycenters.Monitors and prepares reports on program and facility use. Collects feesand keeps records of fees collected and deposited.Communicates regularly with program participants, parents, schooladministrators and facility staff.Performs emergency First Aid and CPR as needed, within the limitationsof the specific certification.\
Required Skills & Experience:
\Bachelors degree in Recreation or combination of aquatic training andexperience is desired.American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuersand First Aid, and American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor required.American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor and Certified Pool Operator(CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) preferred.Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license in good standing.\Applications accepted until May 30, 2025\Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of asatisfactory criminal background check.\
Salary & Benefits:
