Recreation Supervisor – Fitness The City of Warrensburg is accepting applications for a Full Time Recreation Supervisor-Fitness with the Parks & Recreation Department. Wage range $36,270.83-54,416.96 annually, plus employee benefit package.

Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Parks & Recreation, or related field, plus professional experience. Must possess a valid Driver’s License. On call, after-hours, and weekend duty within a 40-hour week is required. This position is a supervisory and leadership role responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing a comprehensive Fitness Activities program to the community across multiple locations in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of Fitness, staff supervision, and professional service delivery. The candidate will lead by example, demonstrate a commitment to excellence, possess sound analytical decision-making skills, utilize outstanding communication and time-management skills and be a valuable partner for internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience preparing and managing operating budgets and working with recreation software applications in managing recreation facilities and programs; ability to interpret and administer the policies of an organization; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, City officials, and citizens; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Works independently at a skilled level under the general supervision of the Recreation Superintendent.
