Esports Coordinator Position Available In Guilford, North Carolina

Description:

The Esports coordinator will develop and implement all student activity and programming related to Esports. This position will supervise student staff who manage the day to day operations of the Esports area. This position will advise and work with students and campus partners to develop a healthy community of gamers and reinforce the values of equity and inclusion in the gaming community.

Primary Function of Organizational Unit:

Campus Recreation provides a broad and diversified listing of fitness and wellness programs, activities and classes that meet the needs and interests of the entire campus community. These activities are organized and administered in a manner that is intended to provide a recreational break from academic pursuits, improve physical health, and develop skills and interests that contribute to healthy lifestyles. The greatest opportunity lies in fostering personal growth through competition, self-testing, and teamwork that is found in participating in recreational and fitness programs.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or and equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
