out of 5 stars Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 JOB The Town of Fuquay-Varina Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department is seeking a responsible, dedicated individual for the position of Community Center Aide II. Duties include routine clerical, customer service and front desk services for the facility as well as providing daytime programming support for recreation and active adult programs which would include setting up and taking down rooms in between programs/rentals. Typical tasks are but not limited to answering phones, answering facility or activity questions, booking rentals, collecting payments, renewing memberships, performing clerical tasks, and entering registrations into the system. This position would also be able to take on added responsibilities such as overall supervision of the facility in the absence of full-time staff.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Duties include routine clerical, customer service and front desk services for the facility. Typical tasks are but not limited to answering phones, answering facility or activity questions, booking rentals, collecting payments, renewing memberships, performing clerical tasks, and entering registrations into the system. Provide daytime programming support for recreation and active adult programs which would include setting up and taking down rooms in between programs/rentals. Provide overall supervision of the facility in the absence of full-time staff.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Physical Requirements Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of stooping, reaching, standing, lifting, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
Must be able to perform sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Must possess the visual acuity to prepare data and statistics, work with accounting processes, operate a computer terminal, and make visual inspections.
Minimum RequirementsValid NC Driver’s License.
Ability to work 10-20 hours a week. Flexible work hours.
