SCHEDULE
10-20 per week including nights and some daytime/weekends. Hours and schedule will vary.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
An employee in this position assists the Recreation Program Supervisor in program planning, implementation, and evaluation with a focus on Senior Bus trips. This position reports to the Recreation Program Supervisor. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
A SAMPLE OF THE ESSENTIALS
Assists the Recreation Program Supervisor in program planning, implementation, and evaluation of Senior Programs Assists in the coordination and logistics of Senior Recreational Trips, including transportation, scheduling, itinerary planning, including on-site support during trips to ensure safety and satisfaction of all participants. Manages trip-related paperwork, including name tags, medical information, and registrations. Organizes and executes some evening and weekend senior programs monthly (Monday Trivia Nights) Creates marketing materials and publicizes programs through a variety of forms and media outlets. Assists in tracking data trends on class participation. Provides excellent customer service to participants, community members, contractors, and vendors. Performs related duties as required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Graduation from high school and must be 18 years of age and available to work year-round. WITH… Some knowledge of planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and events. Ability to make activity adaptions and modifications for a variety of abilities. Ability to follow directions; enforce rules. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to drive 14-passenger buss up to 100 miles each direction. Possess good customer service skills. Considerable knowledge of office practices and procedures, grammar, and punctuation. Considerable knowledge of word processing, data base maintenance, spreadsheet data entry, and other specific information technology applications. Skill in customer service including problem-solving and conflict resolution.
WHAT WOULD SET YOU APART
Prior experience working with seniors 55 and older. Prior experience driving 14-passenger bus. General clerical and public contact experience.
