Join us as an Activities Assistant and become an essential part of our vibrant community. We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Activities Assistant to help foster an engaging and vibrant community at Evergreen Place. This Part Time (24 hours per week) position includes every other weekend ( a must ). This is a fun , interactive and satisfying position. You will provide social enrichment through stimulating and interactive FUN experiences meant to enhance our residents’ quality of life. No boredom here!
What You’ll Do:
Assist in planning and facilitating a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, games, fitness classes, and social events. Encourage resident participation and help create a positive and welcoming environment. Set up and take down activity spaces, ensuring they are safe and inviting. Support the Activities Coordinator in organizing special events and outings. Maintain records of resident participation and gather feedback to improve activities. Drive our residents to outings in our 14 passenger van 3-4 times a month.
What We’re Looking For:
A high school diploma or equivalent; experience in a healthcare or recreational setting is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine love for working with seniors. Creativity and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of residents. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Availability every other weekend. Why Join Us?
