Qualified candidate would be responsible for providing individual and group activities to facilitate recovery. Provide program of activities for patients/residents to include, but not limited to the following: individual or group activities that promote the development of skills, promote the ability to interact in a group setting, and provide the patient with self-esteem through a sense of accomplishment. Must be creative, energetic, and have a passion to work with the elderly. Activity assistant reports to the Activity Director. Certification in dementia care a plus.
