An Activity Assistant leads various social & recreational programs in large and small group settings. To be effective in this job, you need to be patient, have compassion and like to have fun. You will assist the Activity Director in planning and programming as well as, documenting the participation of the residents. The Activity Assistant is responsible for carrying out activities that are meaningful to the residents based on their life interests and hobbies. Activities should enhance the quality of life and self-esteem of each resident. You should be detail-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
