- Eligibility based on location Activities Assistant Responsibilities include: Interacts with residents, families, staff, and other visitors in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous Supports resident independent recreation, based on individual preferences.
Encourages resident’s highest functioning ability. Supports the maintenance of an activities schedule that support the seven dimensions of wellness (physical, emotional, intellectual/cognitive, and environmental), as well as making regular updates to resident-facing activity board to ensure accurate and festive information. Facilitate resident clubs that promote wellness to residents and create an environment where residents feel encouraged to participate. Assist with resident exercise programs. Ensures the residents’ right to make personal choices in agreement with the residents’ service plan. Promotes and provides for and assist with residents’ participation in activities. Ensure that residents are free from abuse (physicals, verbal and sexual). Supports resident independent recreation, based on individual preferences. Ensures the residents’ right to make personal choices in agreement with the residents’ service plan. Attends all in-service education programs mandated by SSL, State and Federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to our senior residents. Appreciate the value of being a dependable & responsible member of greater team. Pay starts at $17.00/hr and up based upon experience Some college or better.
