Recreation Aide The Waterford on The Bay Brooklyn, NY Job Details Full-time $16.50 – $18.00 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Entry level Full Job Description Assist Recreation leader in conducting Recreational activities in facility. Arrange chairs, Tables, and sporting or exercise equipment in designated areas for scheduled group activities, Organize and promote activities such as arts and crafts, sport games, and music, and conduct programs as scheduled. Welcome visitors and answer telephone calls. Notifies Residents of activity schedules monitor Residents at activities to ensure orderly conduct, serve refreshments, Receives, stores and issues equipment and supplies, keep attendance record; operate audiovisual equipment, monitor activities during recreational trips or tours. Visits Residents in there rooms for short periods of time, assist Residents in and out of recreation areas. Encourage residents to participate in activities, also taking into account the needs and interest of individual residents. Responsible for the comfort of resident during activity programs will observe & report resident complaint and or any signs of distress will report any incident or accident to resident, visitors or self immediately. Maintain a safe environment & cooperate in the fire and accident prevention programs. Assist in various tasks on the Computer.
