Job Description
Description Pay Rate:
$15.60 HourlyPer Diem
GENERAL SCOPE
Assist in various forms of therapeutic engagement to benefit resident’s quality of life
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION
Must be at least 14 years of age and have proper working permits. Ability to follow verbal and written directions and communicate and work in a team oriented setting. High degree of reliability needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide group and individual programs as assigned + Provide save methods of transportation for residents. + Input statistics for attendance + Ensure the safety of the residents during recreation therapy programs. + Supervise volunteers. + All other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
Experience or interest in working with older adults. Experience working in a youth or older adult recreation program.
