Description:
Keuka College is seeking a dynamic and creative Assistant Director of Athletic Communications to support the operations of the Athletic Department under the guidelines of Keuka College, the Empire 8 Conference, and the NCAA. This position plays a key role in managing athletic communications and game operations, with a strong emphasis on new media—including social media management, digital and graphic design, and video production. The successful candidate will assist in planning and implementing strategies that enhance the visibility and reputation of Keuka College Athletics, aligning with departmental and institutional goals. This role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and demands strict adherence to all college, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Shooting video and performing post-production on content for game highlights, season previews, special features, awards, and marketing and promotional items Manage and work to improve Wolves+ streaming platform Design, create, and manage social media initiatives for the Department of Athletics, including working with coaches on individual team accounts Oversee statistical and press coverage at home athletic contests for assigned sports and disseminate information to local media following home and away contests Operate home events and duties required for game operations in conjunction with game ops staff Hire, train, and supervise work-study personnel. Attend athletics staff meetings Responsible for ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in compliance with various institutional and regulatory requirements. Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required. Perform other functions as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with videography, video editing, and creating social media content is required Experience working in a sports information office and using statistical programs including PrestoStats and NCAA LiveStats Computer proficient with knowledge of Adobe Suite Must have time management flexibility and be able to sustain long work hours, including evenings, early mornings and weekends. Attention to detail and high standards for quality. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Ability to speak in public, including public address, as well as complete other game operations tasks Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to provide exemplary customer service to all internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure with a high tolerance for interruptions, and the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
