Role:

The Storeroom/Utility/C+B Utility position is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency of Middle Child. This role involves managing inventory, ensuring that all supplies are organized and readily available for staff use, and supporting the overall cleanliness and functionality of the store. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating smooth daily operations by ensuring that all utility areas are well-maintained and stocked. Additionally, this position requires collaboration with various departments to ensure that all utility needs are met promptly and effectively. Ultimately, the Storeroom/Utility/C+B Utility will contribute significantly to creating a positive shopping experience for customers by ensuring that the store is well-equipped and orderly.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a storeroom or utility role preferred. Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in retail or a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with inventory management systems. Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities:

Manage inventory levels and ensure that all storeroom supplies are organized and accessible. Assist in receiving and stocking deliveries, ensuring that all items are properly logged and stored. Maintain cleanliness and organization of utility areas, including storerooms and break rooms. Collaborate with team members to identify and fulfill utility needs throughout the store. Conduct regular audits of inventory and supplies to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
