Job Description:
Assessments of new residents. Keep accurate records of resident participation. Assist with calendar distribution. Lead groups daily. One to one visits as scheduled. One to one activities as scheduled. Assist in training of new employees in department. Attend activity assistants workshops when offered. Assist in preparation of monthly calendars. Assist in charting. Understands the responsibility to report suspected violations of The Cypress Code of Conduct to appropriate persons, or to The Cypress Compliance Hotline, or by completing a Written Report of Suspected Compliance Violation, or by contacting the Corporate Compliance Officer directly. Takes appropriate precautions to avoid job related injuries and complies with injury reporting guidelines. Actively participates in safety programs and complies with The Cypress Club policies and procedures. Looks for ways to continuously improve safety for members, staff and visitors. Embraces The Cypress Hospitality Promises daily.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist Resident to and from programs. Encourage Residents to participate in activities. Prepares for each program. Set up for parties and luncheons. Set up and clean up decorations.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate in English.
Licensure/Certification:
N/A Additional Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a long term care facility preferred; strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required.
