After School / Summer Camp Assistant 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars 721 US Highway 321 Byp S, Winnsboro, SC 29180 Overview We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and caring individuals to serve as Program Leaders for our Afterschool and Summer Camp programs, working with children ages 5 to 12. Program Leaders will facilitate fun, enriching activities that promote social-emotional learning, creativity, physical activity, and academic support in a safe, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate recreational, academic, and enrichment activities. Plan and lead activities such as arts and crafts, games, STEM projects, team-building, and outdoor play. Assist with homework support (afterschool only) and encourage positive learning habits. Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants. Monitor attendance and maintain accurate daily records. Promote positive behavior and manage group dynamics using proactive strategies. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and leadership regarding student needs and program updates. Set up, clean, and organize activity areas and materials daily. Support field trips, special events, and meals/snacks as needed.
