Myrtle Beach Manor is seeking an Assistant Programand Outreach Director (Activities Assistant) to join theirteam!

Shift Details:

Part timeActivitiesMon-Fri ; Every otherweekend requiredThe Assistant Program and Outreach Director reportsdirectly to Program and Outreach Director.

SUMMARY

The AssistantProgram and Outreach Director is responsible for assisting in theday to day delivery of resident centered activities that promotesand integrates the Phoenix Senior Living philosophy to incorporatewellness in all aspects of the seniors’ lives we serve. Ensuringall dimensions (emotional, sense of purpose, physical, social,intellectual and spiritual) are incorporated into the services weprovide and embrace.

Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIESActivities Refers to the Resident Profile and addendum for every newresident Assist with facilitating a variety of appropriate andpersonalized activities which incorporates all dimensions wellnessand are available throughout the day and evening with resident careassociate participation Understands the recognition of resident changes in condition,takes appropriate action Assist residents to and from activity room (s) whennecessary In memory care assist the residents to and from Life Skills andother normalizing life enriching activities and routine and assistwith engagement Reviews, reads, notates, and initializes communication log todocument and learn about pertinent information and any resident’sphysical and behavioral changes Maintains activity areas in an orderly manner As applicable, assist with the delegation of daily care of anyanimal and or plants within the activities program and services, aswell as maintenance of records related to this care Assist in maintaining an inventory of activity and programmingsupplies, games, programs and crafts

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE-CERTIFICATIONActivities Education:

High School Diploma, and job related experiencepreferred in a senior living community.
