Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a compassionate, creative, and high-energy Activities Assistant to join our team. This role supports the development and coordination of resident-centered activity programs—including spiritual, intergenerational, recreational, and entertainment events. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Create fun, engaging, and meaningful programs for our senior residents Encourage participation through enthusiasm, reminders, and personalized invitations Facilitate resident socialization and support a sense of community Organize both internal and external activities and therapeutic programs Maintain a monthly calendar of events Recognize birthdays and special occasions Coordinate volunteer involvement, outings, shopping trips, and beauty shop appointments Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, and visitors Contribute to a positive, energetic, and family-like environment

Job Requirements:

Creativity, energy, and a passion for working with seniors Experience planning and implementing activities for older adults Understanding of the aging process and compassion for the elderly Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to promote and maintain a positive image Why Join Spring Oak?
