We’re looking for motivated, high-energy Sender Zipline Guides to join our Smoky Mountains team. Senders are the pros on platform launch zones—leading with confidence, giving clear instructions, and making every guest feel secure, seen, and stoked. What the Job Involves Provide exceptional guest service while ensuring safety on each zipline platform Conduct detailed equipment checks before each launch Coach guests through their nerves and celebrate their bravery Use radios to coordinate with fellow guides and keep tours running on schedule Educate guests about local nature, Smoky Mountain history, and CLIMB Works’ mission Assist with safety inspections, minor course upkeep, and gear maintenance Stay alert, positive, and professional—rain or shine What Sets You Apart Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent Comfortable working at heights and outdoors for extended periods Friendly, clear communicator with a team-first attitude Able to remain calm and focused in high-energy situations Physically capable of lifting gear and moving around rugged terrain Bonus Points Prior experience in outdoor guiding or adventure tourism Familiarity with Smoky Mountain plants, wildlife, or regional stories Wilderness First Aid or CPR certification A knack for storytelling or public speaking Why You’ll Love It Here Starting wage: $12/hour + the possibility of tips Work in one of the most beautiful places in the country Be part of a fun, supportive, mission-driven team Free tours and employee discounts for family and friends Housing options available! Works Smoky Mountains offers a top-rated, 2.5-hour guided zipline tour that takes guests soaring high above the trees on 6 dual zip lines, including our longest line that stretches over 2,400 feet. The adventure begins with an exciting ATV ride up a scenic mountain trail and continues through treetop sky bridges, an aerial spiral staircase, and breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Our course is designed to challenge, inspire, and connect guests with nature while emphasizing safety, fun, and storytelling. Along the way, participants learn about the local history, ecology, and the unique beauty of the Smokies—all from experienced guides who love what they do.
