Town Recreation Director Town o Fair Haven Fair Haven, VT 05743 Recreation Director – Town of Fair Haven, VT The Town of Fair Haven is seeking a full-time Recreation Director to lead and grow our community recreation programs. Under the direction of the Town Manager and Selectboard, this position oversees all recreational programming, facility maintenance, and public engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage youth and community recreation programs (e.g., Summer Rec, sports, concerts, and events) Supervise seasonal staff and camp counselors Manage department budget and fundraising efforts Maintain recreation facilities and equipment Lead community outreach and promote events through social media and public communications
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred 2+ years of experience in recreation or a related field Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills Valid driver’s license required Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to operate recreation equipment
Compensation:
Full-time with benefits and vacation.
Salary range:
