Activities Assistant part time Thompson House Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Brattleboro, VT 05304 Thompson House Rehabilitation in Brattleboro VT is seeking a activity assistant for our residents ! The ideal candidate would be proficient in focusing on our residents and their needs! Come up with engaging activities and diversion opportunities during the weekend would be a requirement for this candidate , this position is every other weekend or every weekend , the hours would be 10am-6pm ! Supervise in the dining room, provide diversion opportunities (example a coloring , visiting with residents from table to table , puzzles, etc). We also have room for growth and for more hours , we offer feeding/assisting classes and would be happy to have you join after your orientation period. This position is an engaging and rewarding opportunity, in a gem of a building. We do not use agency staff and pride ourselves in investing internally and in continuity of care. No licenses required, LNA/ CNA license is a plus! Must be able to pass state and national background check.
