Bakery Manager for our

NEW LOCATION IN HUNTSVILLE!

! Mountain Brook | Full-Time | $22 – $26 | 45-55 hrs/week We’re brick & tin — a small, local bar/bakery/restaurant rooted in Mountain Brook and fueled by passion, craft, and community. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Bakery Manager to lead our bakery program and elevate our bread and pastry production at our first expansion store in Huntsville, Alabama.

What You’ll Do:

As our Bakery Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bakery production — from hands-on baking to team leadership and creative development. You’ll manage a small but mighty bakery team while working closely with our Head Office.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading and training bakery staff with clear, effective communication Managing day-to-day bakery operations Creating and developing menus using seasonal, fresh ingredients and farmer product Ordering and inventory control for all bakery supplies Handling inter-department transfers and updating our team with new offerings, photos, and seasonal content Upholding quality, consistency, and creativity in all products Maintaining expectations for staple menu items and working with Head Office to drive creative program staying true to brand.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated bakery professional who can lead with vision, precision, and heart.

Must-haves:

5+ years of hands-on bread baking experience in a professional kitchen 3+ years of supervisory or management experience Strong skills in scratch bread & pastry production at scale Mastery of pie-making, laminated doughs, cookie scaling/forming, and use of industrial mixers A solid grasp of seasonal baking and ingredient sourcing Highly organized and detail-oriented Calm under pressure and efficient in a fast-paced environment Respectful, professional, and consistent A strong communicator who can both give and receive constructive feedback Excited about building something meaningful with a like-minded team If you’re ready to lead a growing bakery team and take pride in your craft, we’d love to hear from you .
