SUMMARY:
As a Restaurant Manager at MAPCO, you are responsiblefor managing your restaurant’s team and operations. You will beresponsible for driving restaurant profitability and managing yourinventory levels. You are responsible for recruiting and hiringtalent, while providing training and development to retain acustomer focused workforce that will consistently provide asuperior guest experience, delivering on our brand promise of”Convenience You Can Trust”.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, whichincludes hiring top talent, training, and developing your teamwhile driving profitability. Trains and directs team ensuring all food items are preparedand served in accordance with all Brand, Company, and healthdepartment regulations. You will build and foster a culture where the primary focuswill always be on the guests’ needs and providing “Convenience YouCan Trust”. Serve as a role model to team members in and outside of storesby consistently presenting a high energy, friendly attitude to teammembers and guests. Actively manage your P&L and inventory by identifyingrestaurant and category sales trends and implementing action plansto generate and drive additional sales opportunities to maximizeperformance and drive profitability. Create an organized and process-oriented environment. Communicate company objectives as necessary so that teammembers understand how the company strategy fits into their dailyoperations. Set clear expectations for team members, track results, andmanages performance for continuous improvement. Schedule team members effectively to meet guest demand anddeliver a superior experience while maintaining laborcontrols. Create a culture of people-first, superior guest service, andoperational excellence to deliver on MAPCO brand standards. Focuson execution and creating a culture with systems and resources instore. Practice discipline to optimize results by efficient expensespending and thorough planning. Forecast and analyze business trends and functionality withinpayroll, loss prevention, and controllable expenses therebymaximizing store and restaurant performance and profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a people first mindset; every team member and guestdeserve a great experience. Strong team building, leadership, and managerial skills, suchas giving feedback to team members regarding work performance on anon-going basis, recruiting, hiring, and performancemanagement. Skillful communicator with the ability to communicate complexissues in an easily understood manner. Ability to plan, prioritize, and effectively deal withambiguity in a fast-paced environment, with energy, drive, and afocus on execution. Manage work schedules within established budgets for optimalstore coverage. Required to have a strong business acumen. Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR. Availability to be on call 24/7. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED is required. Minimum of 1-2 years of food service management experience insimilar working environment.
