If you do not operate well being a servant to others, please do not apply. • Job Summary Goldfingers of Troy is seeking an Assistant General Manager candidate. The General Manager and whoever fills this position are mutually responsible for success of the store. The ideal candidate has multiple years of restaurant experience, with at least one year of a leadership role in a restaurant. The Assistant GM will be primarily responsible for the state of the evening/night shift, with the General Manager primarily working during the morning and lunch hours, with a handoff in-between. The GM and the Assistant GM will work in the morning or evening for each other as needed. Saturdays will also be required to be worked at least twice per month. Duties Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction. Ensure that Goldfingers company policy are followed and standards held by all staff during the evening and night hours Help manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste. Train and mentor new employees on food preparation techniques, safety standards, and customer service protocols. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas. • Skills Strong background in food production and preparation, with knowledge of culinary techniques. Experience in restaurant operations, particularly in casual dining settings. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Proficient in inventory control practices to ensure efficient stock management. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. A passion for hospitality management, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
