Dope, because we are looking for a Cafe Manager and that could be you! This person will be instrumental in managing daily operations, helping to increase profitability, boost customer engagement, and grow our team.

Full Time // Reports to: Shop Owners Work Schedule Approximately 32hrs/week

  • Weekday/early morning availability
  • specific schedule of on-site shifts to be determined

  • Some hybrid work hours Essential Duties Manage day-to-day operations of the shop Serve as the coffee shop staff expert, implementing processes and reinforcing shop policies, as well as ensuring compliance with food-handling requirements Onboard new baristas, training them on customer service, drink preparation, and proper use of coffee equipment, proper care of the establishment Deliver quality customer service to guests, problem solving where needed Identify opportunities for efficiency in coffee shop operations and offerings, maintaining regular communication with owners to implement new ideas Manage inventory; coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed Some budgeting and handling of cash deposits Ensure all cafe areas and equipment are clean, tidy, and in good working order Providing support for events and on-site activities.

Collaborate on promotional activities to drive customer engagement and sales Ensure good stewardship of human and fiscal resources Core Competencies To perform the job successfully, individual should demonstrate the following: Problem Solving

Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a coffee shop or similar food and beverage environment. Passionate about coffee with an understanding of coffee preparation and service (barista experience preferred). Demonstrable experience with product management, labor management, and/or small business marketing preferred Spanish language proficiency preferred Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk and will occasionally be required to do some lifting (up to 50 pounds).
