Assitant Manager Hard Hat Restaurant Group 100 New Haven Road, Durham, CT 06422

Responsibilities:

• Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations of the food production and banquet services
• Coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations
• Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
• Assist in creating and implementing standard operating procedures and policies
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
• Assist in planning and executing special events, including weddings, conferences, and corporate functions
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus and ensure high-quality food production
• Assist in training new staff members on job duties and company policies

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or catering environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
