Assistant General Manager Prime & Pearl 4949 Celebration Pointe Ave Ste 70, Gainesville, FL 32608 We’re hiring an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead our upscale, full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of high-end dining experience, a strong customer service mindset, and hands-on leadership skills. This role focuses on staff development, guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards in service, cleanliness, and food quality. Experience with Canva, Photoshop, reservations management, and wine/spirit pairings is a plus. Activities & Responsibilities Assist with the training and development of the restaurant staff. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Must possess a strong customer service focus and mindset. Skillful planner with knowledge of basic business fundamentals. Skilled in conflict resolution and mediation. Constantly focus on labor costs, food costs, and supply costs. Must maintain high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction. Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships. A motivational leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and leads by example. A positive attitude that inspires others and promotes great teamwork. Must show initiative and possess the skills to self-manage. Ability to manage and oversee both the FOH and BOH operations. Requirements 2+ years of supervisor experience in full-service upscale dining or resort experience preferred. Proficient in menu design software, including Canva and Photoshop Experienced in managing reservations to optimize cover count and service efficiency. Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, and liquor pairings. Must be able to work an average of 50 hours per week to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience using MS O365 and other restaurant management software (Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Canva, Photoshop, Toast POS, Point-of-Sale receipt printers, terminals, workstations, and Open Table).
