The Front of House Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front of house, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a solid understanding of food service management. Duties Supervise and coordinate front of house staff to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service. Conduct interviews and hire new team members, providing training and ongoing support. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimize the dining experience. Oversee food safety practices and compliance with health regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the Aloha POS system effectively. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality service. Address guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area. Skills Proficient in food service management principles with a focus on hospitality excellence. Experience in bar operations and coffee service is a plus. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices. Ability to prepare food items as needed while adhering to quality standards. Familiarity with Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and cash handling. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing daily operations.
